Lucent Biwa Pearl Necklace

Simple, luminous and beautifully individual, the Lucent Biwa Pearl Necklace pairs a natural freshwater pearl with a delicate chain for an effortless everyday piece. 

Each rectangular Biwa pearl has its own organic shape, surface texture and iridescent glow, shifting from soft ivory and cream to subtle flashes of pink, blue, and green as it catches the light. Suspended simply from a fine chain, the pearl remains the focus. 

Names Lucent, from the Latin lucere - "to shine" - for the uminous, light-catching quality of the pearl.

Easy to wear alone or layered with other favorites, Lucent is available in your choice of 14k gold-filled or sterling silver. 

Part of the AUGUST collection, inspired by late summer as its most abundant: ripened color, golden light, and the first subtle shift toward fall.
